Virpiniemi, located on the shores of the Bothnian Sea near Oulu, is a recreational and sports area with beautiful mountain landscapes and year-round activities. "Northern Vierumäki" offers visitors the summer trails and winter trails of the Runtelinharju hiking area, marine water activities, swimming beaches and even opportunities for horse riding in stunning scenery. At Rantasarka campsite you can stay longer!

Golf lovers will find the greens created by leading Nordic course designer Jan Sederholm in Virpiniemi, and the world's most spectacular game can start at the crack of dawn in most years. Both the proximity to the sea and the hilly landscape will challenge the player throughout the round.
